Here's this weeks DT piece for the Crafty Creations challenge where the theme is 'Bunnies' to fit in with the run up to easter... so make something with a bunny on it, be it sweet, chocolaty, fluffy or stamped.... I've used:
Here's my most recent jewellery make to go with my new black and ivory dress for going out on friday night.. some of you may recognise the design from topshop, i just refused to pay £12 for it and i swapped the ivory ribbon bow idea for a black rose instead as it stood out more on the top.. I've used:
So here's my entry for the Cutie Sunday sketch #33 challenge.. it's a birthday for a friend at uni who is nicknamed 'The Iranian Missile' so I tried to make a card that took that into mind.. I've used:
Kaboodle Doodle 'alien kit' (rocket has been decoupaged)
Here's my DT piece for this weeks Crafty Creations challenge which is 'Spring', my piece is my mum's mothers day present. Spring here in the UK means Mothers Day so I thought I'd try and get my mothers day bits done so I could show everyone them before she even gets to see them at the weekend.
Here's my entry for this weeks One Stop Craft Challenge which this week is a sketch from Maggie.. I've used the sketch to make a card for a friend's birthday that is coming up soon, he's a football fan so this seemed to fit quite nicely with the shapes on the sketch. My doodled element is the whoosh lines for the football. I've used:
So this fortnights Jewellery Challengehas been picked by me and I picked the theme 'Buttontastic'. I love my button stash and I'm forever trying to find a way to bring them into everything I make and here we go I've got them into 2 more projects... I've made a flower shaped button brooch, which is quick, simple and looks cute on a jacket... my other project is a button pendant necklace, this took a little longer.. I've put the picture up to show both sides of the pendant just in case anyone else wants to give it a go some time... I've used for the brooch:
Here's my DT piece for this weeks Kaboodle Doodle challenge which is another of Andrea's sketches. My card is for a friend who got engaged earlier this week, so I tried to colour tilda and edwin to look similar to her and her bloke. I've used:
Here's my entry for this weeks Cutie Sunday sketch.. it's an order from mum to give to a friend who's off on a travelling spree soon and she wanted to give her a farewell card.. I've used:
This weeksCrafty Creations challenge is 'Flowers' and being typically me I had to go off and make my DT piece something as different as I could possibly think of so I didn't have to make a card lol... and here we have my piece... a ribbon flower brooch inspired by a decoration from a handbag that I saw in my favourite alternative clothes shop in the city centre.. I've used:
Here's another Mothers Day card and this one is actually for my mum. I've combined a couple of challenges as I just haven't had card inspiration lately, but with these 3 fab themes I was well on my way getting this card finished! I used the Colour Create colourscheme 'orange, yellow and green', the sketch on Forever Friends to base my design around and the Cupcake Craft Challenge 'Spring'. I've used:
This weeks Crafty Creations challenge is another of Jaime's sketches and Deena is offering a cute prize so come play along.... I used the sketch to make a digi page of my Westie Dylan enjoying his first ever day of snow. I've used:
And finally I have the spare time to do some non DT challenge work!
So this poor bare cardboard S has been sat on my desk for a month or so now waiting for something to happen and finally it has... I finally got inspired to work on it when I saw this weeks Colour Create challenge 'Blue and brown, extra options lace and pearls' ok so I didnt use lace as the only lace i have is black and it looked wrong.. and it also fits the Lots To Do theme 'Alter It'. I've used:
Thanks to Karen for this snazzy award, I've not seen it before so I'm pretty chuffed to be given it :) Now I have to pass it on to 10 people who do inspiring projects/work and generally make me smile and laugh.... so in no particular order at all...
Saw this idea whilst blog hopping a while ago and I downloaded the template...but now I really can't seem to find where I got it from so I can't post you all a link to go look... It's called a sympathy doll and the idea is you give it to someone and when they are sad they can look at it, see how sad it looks and realise they aren't the only person to feel sad/upset/angry and that there's always someone worse off somewhere than you...
