I Believe In Fairies...

The theme over at One Stop Craft Challenge is 'I believe in angels/fairies'.. so I dragged out the enchanted forest digi kit as it's full of pretty fairy papers and embellishments.
The photo is from our graduation party, our mates dared us to kiss for a photo, wow not like we haven't done that before in the 5 months we've been together but hey lol. I love the wire word embellishment on the top right hand corner, it blends so well with the rest of the page :)

Long time no see....

Ok so I have been AWOL from my blog for a long time I know.. if anyone is even still looking at it anymore.. but things have been very hectic and I'm sorry I've lost touch with so many of you too. So anyway... I'm going to try and come back a bit more often now though nothing will be regular again till at least November when I'm settled in my new BA job and moved down south..
More to the point here's my first challenge entry in months... it's for the Lots To Do Challenge 'Paper Craze'. It used to be a naff plastic bangle so I decided to upcycle it.. I decoupaged it with white paper that has real green leaves in it, then I wrapped some green and black ribbon around it to add a bit of colour, and finally I added the large bow to give the bangle a main detail.

This is a shredded tights necklace, the idea came from Lady Smaggle and I feel in love with it, so had to make one myself and add a lil twist to the design.

And I can enter this necklace as my piece for this weeks One Stop Craft Challenge 'Charmed'..

An unusual tagging...

So here's an unusual form of tagging, it's been passed on to me by Zoe. Right, so here are the rules :The instructions are to go to where you keep your photo's on your PC, choose the 6th folder, then the 6th picture.....post on your blog and explain.
So mine is a photo from my old gliding club.. the white glider in the foreground belongs to a friend and the red glider is my dad's, that I fly and love... it was a beautiful hot, sunny day and we were dossing around in the sun having lunch and I thought the scene made a good photo...
Now I have to pick 5 to pass this on to...
  1. Jen
  2. Sarah
  3. Jenny
  4. Donna
  5. Jaime
