bugs n kisses ATCs

I downloaded myself a pink petticoat zip kit this morning... bugs n kisses....... so here's the ATCs i made with the first set i printed out with the sentinents.... i love them, especially with the fabby background papers i bought this afternoon for 25p per 12"x12" sheet from a craft shop i only discovered today.

After having had a pretty crummy day at uni i wasn't much in the mood to do anything too serious so i dug around the files on my laptop and found this pig card template from time for crafting so thought i'd give it a go....added a few more details than the picture on the template sugested...sadly this card doesn't have a new home to go to so it's just going to sit on my desk with the growing collection of cards that have no destination...and to add to things i caught myself with the scissors trying to curl the paper for the tail :(

I've just finished another piece....a new necklace to go with the bracelet i made last night....i'ma bit of fuss for having matching sets of things so i had to make the necklace to go with the bracelet seen as most surf type jewellery comes in sets.... so now i just need to make myself a pearl and hematite necklace to go witht the hematite hearts bracelet i made myself last night lol

Audi and some jewellery

So today i was asked to make an 18th birthday card for a girl whose dream car is an audi rs8, who loves champagne and glam bits and pieces....so this is what i came up with...hopefully it captures enough of each element to make it work properly.....

And then i realised my poor bracelet i've been wearing for a few months looked more than dead so i made a new surf bead style bracelet using more of the beads that my nan sent me, she works in a charity shop so i get lots of old jewellery to recycle....then i decided to use some of the pearls that arrived in my most recent package... so i mixed them with some hematite beads to make a bracelet for the birthday girl and then another similar to it for myself but this time using some hematitie beads i bought a while ago but just hadn't found a use for them till today....so i'm happy with all i've achieved today :)

Funky Fairy and Tilda & Co Challenge

Just made my cards for this weeks Funky Fairy challenge and Tilda & Co challenge. Both can count towards funky fairy as they are both dotty (using some of my free papers of course), but the yellow one was primarily created for the Tilda & Co decoupage challenge for this week. Once again the new watercolour pencil set were dragged out to colour me in some more stamp images, still loving my latest purchase! Didn't think the brads showed out very well on the black and white card when i first did it, so i added the big white circles to make the lil silver brads stand out a bit more, think it looks better now, and also it's for more dots to the card ;) On my yellow card I've decoupaged a tilda stamp where she's carrying a basket of flowers, this card also eeded something extra when i finsihed it so that's why the butterflies are there, but i think this card has a great summer feel to it to match the lush weather here today :)

Not much been happening recently been busy with me dad coming up and uni bits and bobs...so i've only had time to give my new watercolour pencils a quick using.

Cute Card Thursday challenge 2

So here's my attempt at this weeks cute card thursday challenge, this week the challenge was 'in the garden'. Nothing too flash as i couldn't get much in the way of ideas for this...so i opted for some cuddly buddly images and made a decoupage of them... and just for a bit of added interest, as it looked a bit dull, i added a few gems to add some sparkle..... on that note i think i need a hobbycraft trip as i've run out of almost every colour gemstone again!

Todays goodies.....

So today i've made an ATC for a swap i owe on the do crafts forum and a load more candy purses. Had to make more candy purses as my friends daughters' 18th birthday as the number of guests went up to 15 from 8 so here's the last 6 i had to make, i used one of the previously shown pictures on here. So now a mixture of girly coloured purses and some more bold, stylish coloured purses :) these all went down a real treat! Forgot to mention all the papers i've used are from my free download from winning last weeks funky fairys challenge, so 'do ya doodle'?

Police Training Card

Here's the latest card I've made, it's part of the order my mum, finished her card order now :)

It's for a friend of her's who is going into police training in may, so she decided she wanted a humourous card to remind him he'll be a learner all over again in a new job.

Hehehe by default as only 3 people entered last weeks challenge, i've won a download :) in fact all 3 of us won! how cool is that, i'm well chuffed as it was only the second challenge i've tried!

Here's the cards i've made tonight....one for a friend who's birthday is tomorrow, didn't find that out till today as his wife never mentioned a date when she asked me to make it lol.... and the other is for their daughter for her 18th in a few weeks time..... and i've also found out i've got more candy purses to make for her party as well lol!
