Kaboodle Doodle challenge #5







So challenge 5 over at Kaboodle Doodles is 'Not a card', now that's my kind of challenge as I can never think of enough cards to make to fit in with every challenge lol! So I decided to make myself something useful that I've been in dire need of for quite a while now... it's an earring board made from an old cork notice board.. So now I can display all of my handmade earrings on one boards o I can always find what I'm looking for quickly and easily :)

  • 2 chocolate brown paper flowers
  • 2 medium blue vintage rim buttons

Cutie Sunday #33



So here's my entry for the Cutie Sunday sketch #33 challenge.. it's a birthday for a friend at uni who is nicknamed 'The Iranian Missile' so I tried to make a card that took that into mind..

Kaboodle Doodle challenge #4



Here's my DT piece for this weeks Kaboodle Doodle challenge which is another of Andrea's sketches. My card is for a friend who got engaged earlier this week, so I tried to colour tilda and edwin to look similar to her and her bloke.

Kaboodle Doodle challenge #2



Challenge 2 over at Kaboodle Doodles has begun and the challenge is a sketch! So my DT piece is a digi scrap page of our uni afternoon off last thursday when we ventured off to Allenheads to go skiing... well the lads ski, I snowboard!

Today is..........



......... the relaunch of the Kaboodle Doodle challenge blog and the first challege has a Love theme to fit in with the latest kit that is being released... the kit is called Scribble and contains lots of valentines and love based papers and embellishments... the KD girls make lovely cards and once again I felt the need to go 'off piste' with my DT piece and avoid making a card.. just to be the odd one out lol... so I've made a love baton.. or love wand as it has been renamed by the KD gals...

Embossing challenge

Kaboodle Doodle challenge #14



This week's challenge over at Kaboodle Doodle is 'Scalloping Away', as I don't have a scallop punch I decided to just cut one out of paper and use it as a mask for me to ink around to create my scallop up the right hand side. It also fits in with this weeks Daring Cardmakers 'Pink & white xmas' challenge and ABC challenge 'S is for snow' as my pink paper reads 'Let it snow!'

Kaboodle Doodle challenge #12

Week 12 over at Kaboodle Doodle and I picked the theme monochrome... so it can be a black and white project or a project made using shades of a single colour...
So I made a paper bauble usng a tutorial from here... cheekily this means I can enter my piece for the Arty Girlz challenge too as their theme is 'Blog Inspiration'.

Kaboodle Doodle challenge #10



This weeks challenge over at Kaboodle Doodles is 'Brightly coloured xmas', so I've given the new xmas kit a spin as it's full of brightly coloured non-traditional stuff. So i used the basket template from Mel's blog and gave it a whirl as an xmas goody basket for sweets or small presents to go in.
