Kaboodle Doodle meets Lots To Do!



Wahey so here's another bit of DT work that I've done and it's another doubled up piece.. this time it's for the Kaboodle Doodle challenge to use the free download and Lots To Do where Alison chose the theme 'Vintage'. So i made a fat page :)

PB spring candle



Hi everyone I am still here, thanks for the messages of concern.. i've been overloaded with uni and then working virtually every night this week and most of today, but hopefully i'll be around a bit more as of the next the few weeks...
So anyway here's my entry for this week's Penny Black challenge where the theme is 'Seasons', i picked spring as i wanted to give this stamp another airing.

Double DT piece



So here's a double DT piece I've done... yes it's cutting corners a little but when uni takes up so much of my time i'm tyring to not lose out on crafting too much... So this is for the sketch challenge over at Cupcake Craft where I was asked to be guest Dt this week and also for this weeks Kaboodle Doodle challenge 'Non-traditional'.

Finally got a candle to work!



Wahey i'm dead chuffed with this one! So attempt number 3 at a candle and it finally looks good! i blame the old hairdryer i used as this is attempt one with my new hairdryer and it's worked :)

Bright surf necklace



So i didn't like the beaded chain hung on the side of my new Billabong trousers or the tassle so i took them all off... the beads have been recycled into this brightly coloured beauty to make me a great new surf style necklace... yes i have lots of surf bead type necklaces now but i love them they are just so versatile :)

This week's challenge over at ABC challenge the theme is I is for individual... and there's a double prize available... up for grabs is a mikey stamp from inklebod and the other prize is a permanent position on the ABC design team!
So i've made a funky pocket as my piece.

Xmas Canvas

Here's my entry for the Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge 'christmas is coming'. Had another play about with a mini canvas this evening with some bits and pieces that I found during a big clear up of my stash during the last week... and of course i had to have a play with my new spiral whisper stamp that donna got me for my birthday :) thank you!
So I've used:
  • 5"x7" canvas

Edwins dog ATC

Here's a double challenge ATC i've just made. It's for this week's Cute Card Thursday challenge 'Cats or Dogs' and the Tilda & Co challenge 'Chocolate, pink & white'.

Double challenge alterni card

Here's a double challenge card that I've just finished making. It's for.. the Stamp Something challenge 'Cherry Somethings' and the Dutch Dare challenge which this week was a sketch... ok so i altered the sketch a tiny bit lol!

Santa... define naughty!

Double challenge card again... This Thursday challenge is 'Stashbuster raid'... This week's Spoon Full Of Sugar challenge is a sketch by Nikki... and here's my christmassy take on them. The image has been buried deep in my images drawer for yonks!
I've used:
  • Winter gifts paper
  • Skinny card blank
  • Chunky green ribbon
  • 2 tesco star brads
  • Santa define naughty image (not sure of the manufacturer lol, but it seems a stereotype essex girl image lol)

Altered Drawers



Last week's Arty Girlz challenge is 'Alter it', so to get mine in just in time i've literally just finished it! Here's my set of Ikea drawers that I bought last night to organise some more of my stash, i'm fed up of digging through deep plastic drawers so perhaps little wooden drawers will make it easier.
I've used:

  • Creme Caramel and Rock Salt emulsion paint

Here's my entry for the first Spiral Whisper challenge, which is a sketch.

One Sheet Box



This week over at 3d design challenge the challenge is to take the free template and make a one sheet box. Another dead useful project as it makes a great gift bag and it's so quick and simple to do too!

Cupcake craft challenge



Ooh I do like finding new challenges to play along with.... this is for the Cupcake Craft challenge where this week the challenge was to make an ATC.

Risque Fatpage



Wahey first day of uni cancelled as the builders next door cut off the running water lol so here's the result of my craft afternoon :)

This is my risque fat page made for 2 of this weeks challenges... Guttergirlz challenge 'Es Ee Ex' and the Ooh La La challenge 'Words of wisdom'.

I've used:

  • Yellow, gold, bronze, tan and black ink for the background.
