Banana Bread

Thanks to jaime for the yummy recipe for this banana bread...i made it last night as i had a few bananas floating around the kitchen that wouldn't have made it to see this morning... it went down well with the uni lads too as they all had a lil nibble of some of the bits i took in with me today :)

So here we go with the recipe (hope u don't mind me sharing the lushness jaime).. a cup to me was a small teacup...

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp sour milk (mind i used normal milk)
  • 2 cups of flour (or healthier alternative)
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp baking soda
  • 3 mashed bananas
  1. Blend sugar and butter
  2. Mix in the eggs, milk and bananas
  3. Mix in all the dry ingredients
  4. Put into a greased loaf/baking tin
  5. Put in the oven for an hour at gas mark 3 (325F)

All good dear, especially the yummy bread. I just took the second one out of the freezer so I know what the boys will be into for breakfast in the morning. Glad you could convert it as I have NO Clue as to the conversion for you.
