I've used:
  • Large paperclip
  • Purple medium flower
  • 2 medium black buttons

Mum's order

So my mum saw the sets I'd made myself and Linda and she decided she had to have a cocktail ring for herself... well 2 actually as she couldn't decide on a colour and didn't fancy a mix of the 2 colours she couldn't pick between... so I had to make her a black ring and a purple ring.
To say these rings infuriate me is an understatement.. it took 4m of filament to make the purple ring as I had to keep restarting it as the filament kept breaking or getting tied in knots... have you ever tried undoing knots made in clear thread, it's near impossible!

I've used:
  • 38 purple crackle glass beads
  • 38 black crackle glass beads
  • 19 lilac seed beads
  • 19 black seed beads
  • 2 sieve rings
  • Monofilament

'Broken' Swing Card

I found this card idea whilst blog hopping and thought I'd give it a try.. it originates from a swing card, but the designer cut too many lines and cut the swing part off lol so she added a centre piece attached by invisible thread so the centre piece spins round when it's opened. The card also fits in with 2 of this week's challenges... Papertake Weekly 'Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow' and Cute Card Thursday 'Snow+Snowflakes'.

I've used:

  • Blue marble card

Silver sparkle set

This month's prize giving challenge over at Fiskarettes is 'Sparkle' and after findign such a steal at the weekend i had to use my silver sparkle beads.
I was bored at the airport sunday nigth when i discovered the Accessorize store there sells their faulty items dirt cheap, so i rummaged through the basket and found myself some great pieces.. wow so a clasp won't shut or a bead is missing, i won't lose sleep over that as i'll be recycling them all anyway lol... So i found a long length necklace made up of silver glitter ball beads that was missing it's drop, well it was far too long for me anyway, so i recycled the length and made a shorter necklace with 3 drops and a matching bracelet using the spare beads :) i even kept the little A tag to keep on the necklace chain lol
I've used:
  • Recycled 'faulty' Accessorize necklace bits
  • Heart clasp
